Terms of use (end-user licence) — Carve Forecast Sync

Effective 25 September 2026.

These terms govern use of Carve Forecast Sync ("the Tool"), provided by Carve Consulting Inc. ("Carve"). The Tool is a private application. By authorising the Tool to access a QuickBooks Online company you agree to these terms on behalf of that company.

1. Licence

Carve grants the authorising company a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to have the Tool read its QuickBooks Online data for the purpose of financial forecasting delivered by Carve. No other use is licensed.

2. Read-only access

The Tool reads reports and records. It does not write to QuickBooks Online. Carve is not responsible for the accuracy of data as it exists in QuickBooks Online.

3. Authorisation and revocation

Only a QuickBooks Online administrator may authorise the connection. The company may revoke access at any time from QuickBooks Online (Apps → Connected apps) or by written notice to Carve; see Connect.

4. Data

Carve handles data as described in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

5. Intuit

QuickBooks Online is provided by Intuit under Intuit's own terms. Intuit is not a party to these terms and has no responsibility for the Tool.

6. Warranty and liability

The Tool is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, Carve excludes all implied warranties and is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Carve's total liability in connection with the Tool is limited to the fees paid for the engagement in which it was used.

7. Term

These terms apply while the connection is authorised and survive revocation as to sections 4 and 6.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. Contact: sam@carvefinance.com.
